For those of you who don't know... a quite little hound pup found us a couple days ago and won his way into our hearts. Unfortunately, as our previous blog posts say, we are leaving the country in just under 2 weeks. So that means it's up to you guys to help us find a good home for him. We have named him Dax but he really doesn't know that yet so if you want to change his birth certificate then you might want to check with him first. Anyway, we have guessed his age at approx. 3 months give or take a month, he has not been neutered yet and seems to be in good shape with the exception of mild malnurishment. He is extremely smart and very very loveable. In just the few short days we've had him he is nearly house-broken and has been successfully trained in walking on a leash and sleeping in a kennel. After researching on the web, we have concluded that he is a Treeing Walker Coonhound. Too bad he didn't bring his papers with him...we might be able to find him a home even quicker! If you are interested, here is a website that talks about the breed:
