One of our silly projects here in Hawaii

This was the horrible shape our headboard was in...

Jen snarling at the camera in the hot, sweaty, unnerving condition she was in while painting our new headboard.

Our unfinished, 1950's Japanese style, mahogany bedroom suit.

Me (Jason) sanding the drawers after paint striping.

The new product (dresser)

Our bedroom from a glance (with headboard)

This is a little sneak peak at where all the magic happens... (ha,ha thanks cribs)

For our bedroom we decided to purchase a Japanese, solid mahogany, antique set from the 1950's for only $150. It was painted black and in rough shape. So we stripped, sanded, painted, and finished it.
