Jen and I recieved the sad, unexpected news of her grandfather passing away today at 1pm. We just wanted everyone to know that we will be taking the first flight out in the morning (1/29/07) bound for Atlanta and will arrive around 9pm. The funeral is Wednesday and we will be returning to CR on Friday. Please remember us in your prayers as well as our family, safe travels, and unexpected finances. Jason's Grandmother also passed away a week ago (on Sunday 1/21/07) so keep his family in your prayers as well. Well try to stay in touch and post more as it comes. Thanks.

It was horrible not being able to reach you.
This picture makes me cry. This is the face of Grandpa that I remember. . . not the one that I saw today. He is truly in Heaven, because all that I saw today was an empty body. After tears, Grandma and I smiled when we both pictured him fishing in Heaven . . . catching the BIG fish! I love you, Grandpa!
Travel safe Jen and Jason. . . I am so glad that you are coming.

He was always so nice to me - always treating me like I was one of his many kids... I pray for Grandma as I hope that God can help fill the void only he can fill. I praise the entire Cole family as they always stand together to support one another. Their reflection is one of God's greatest teachings on how family should be. I love them all and I am thankful to have them in my life.- One thing is certain, Thanksgiving will never be the same without Grandpa's pork butt...
